Daffodil
OUT OF STOCK.
Daffodils come in many types and variations. We chose the Poeticus Daffodil for the heart of Demeter's Daffodil, creating a light, almost playful floral scent with hints of greenery. Very feminine and slightly sweet, Daffodil is in the tradition of other Demeter florals, inspired by the living flower, not a concentrated, perfumed version of Daffodil.
Daffodils are known by other names, including Narcissus and Jonquil. Daffodils are linked to the Greek myth of Narcissus, who became so obsessed with his own reflection that as he knelt and gazed into a pool of water, he fell into the water and drowned, and the narcissus plant sprang from where he died.
I Wondered Lonely as a Cloud(also commonly known as "Daffodils”)
by William Wordsworth
I wondered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
A hot, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
