"Mixed feelings on this one. As a perfumer I have access to genuine grapefruit EO which smells bright and fresh, however oxidizes easily and isn’t as shelf stable. Demeter’s Pink Grapefruit is without a doubt synthetic which isn’t a bad thing, however to me it does lean into the territory of sickly sweet-ish cleaning product artificial, and not that bright sparkling citrus note I was hoping for. Maybe I just got an old/bad batch, but it isn’t quite as fresh or lively as the real deal."
"I have conflicted thoughts about this. . . I love grapefruits but the cologne at first reminded me of cleaning chemicals or soap. The scent quickly mellows out and becomes kind of musky. Overall, it's not terrible, but was more masculine than I'd hoped for, as it has zero sweetness."

What I wasn't expecting is this cologne that smells exactly like Pink Grapefruit! It's not just scented with hints of the fruit with other scents like I was thinking I was going to get. No, this smells exactly like the fruit! I wasn't sure what to think at first. I tell you now, I think it's absolutely wonderful. I'm amazed how exact the scent is, and it's light citrusy smell is perfect for someone who is looking for something fresh, fun, and summer-y!
