"I was looking forward to trying this scent after reading the reviews for several leather-type scents and choosing Saddle. It is leather, but it's got notes of something almost like root beer, which is very exciting for me (huge soda fan). It's sweet, deep, but not at all headache inducing."

"Initially, this smelled like cleaning products used in public restrooms - ugh. An hour later I attempted to wash it off and it faded to the smell of saddle soap, which is nice. If you want leather, though, try the DFL scent "Leather" -- it's fantastic. I tried "Leather", "Riding Crop", "Russian Leather", and "Saddle". "Leather" and "Riding Crop" were, by far, my favorites."

"i paper tested Saddle before wearing it and it had the exact fragrance I was looking for. It smelled like opening an old and worn wallet. On my skin however, it was a different story. All I got was almond cherry with a hint of vinyl. Not unpleasant, but not what I was looking for. My wife said it smells like saddle soap. I will keep looking for a leather scent."
