should have a different name

"this doesn’t necessarily smell like a pool. i think a better fitting name would be pool day, since it’s lacking any notes of chlorinated water. it’s still a very clean, fresh scent and paired very well with laundromat! imagine the way your skin smells after you step out of the water and reapply your sunscreen. that’s what i get from this one. glad i got to try it for free!"

"Received this as a free gift and wasnt sure what to expect Expect this: chlorine exactly. It smells like a day at the pool, chlorine in your hair that youre too lazy to wash out, a good summer day. I dont know how they did it, but its like they put a pool into a bottle."

"I received this in my order as a gift and was a bit unsure and not something i would choose on my own but it is really nice on its own and i can imagine really good for layering"

Jen (5/5)

"Fragrance is nice. As weird as it is to say, I wish it had more of an aldehyde smell. It's missing the sharp chemical smell that a pool would have."

Hannah (4/5)

"It's a lovely oil in itself of how it feels, the scent is true to it's name on the dry down but when first applied it's almost a plastic lining/ plastic doll smell. It's quite short lived for my taste"

Jas (4/5)

"it’s pretty accurate to the smell of a pool, like a waterpark. though it does have an odd fruit note and i dont enjoy it. i like that it emits that humidity a waterpark has. definitely not for me but people who like aquatic scents will enjoy!"

Not a Pool I’ve Ever Swam In

"Here’s the thing. I think some people would LOVE the clean, ozoney, robins-egg-blue scent of this. I am unfortunately not those people, and that’s okay! Not everything is for me. Here’s the other thing. I don’t know why this was names Swimming Pool. I don’t know who swam exclusively in bactine, non-chlorinated pools, but it wasn’t me. Unless those pools completely killed my ability to detect the scent of chlorine (they could have, idk, I’m not a pool chemist), there is no such profile to this scent. This IS a more palatable version of an all-natural cleaning spray aroma. It is clear, airy, and definitely does not smell “like a hospital” as my wonderful noseblind husband asserts. The kind of scent I will happily give to a friend, not one I’d throw away to save all other humans from experiencing."

"glad this war free with my purchase because im not a fan. not because it smells bad, it's just so faint and barely there."

"I was transported to the pool. . . Seriously, how do you get this scent so perfect"

"Smells floral, no chlorine smell at all."
