"It doesn't smell exactly like a book, but it's certainly a lot closer than other perfumes I've smelled that try to emulate book smell. Very soft, with a bit of vanilla and an earthy smell. I love its subtlety. I mixed it with several other scents with the foolproof blending kit and that blend smells exactly as I'd hoped it would, but honestly this is one of the scents I bought that I would just wear on its own, too.
