The last 2 times, however, I had to return them, as they didn't smell anything like almond and stunk horribly like rancid alcohol! "Before it dries on my skin, it definitely has that characteristic almond smell. It seems that first edge evaporates with the alcohol, because it quickly goes more into the background. I do smell almond oil though, reminding me of Reef suntan oil minus the coconut. Sweet and nutty, with only a hint of marzipan. Maybe a little sweeter and less almondy than expected for me, but a nice smell."
