honey

"sweet but clean"

"Wanted to love it, just smells so oddly sweet like cookies, not like beeswax at all"

Smells exactly like Baby Powder

"Not sure if this is mislabeled but smells exactly like baby powder, it is way, way off. . Ugh. I used to keep bees so this is not what I was hoping for or expecting. No notes of honey at all. No notes of beeswax. Just chemical fake floral. I am sad and disappointed. Not sure who would want to smell like this but it is going in the garbage, unfortunately . . . this is completely infantile."

This One Beats Honey

"I love the Honey scent but it can smell baby powder-y. Beeswax is purely a strong honey scent with what seems like a teeny amount of orange to intensify the honey smell. It's my new fave, delicious mixed with Licorice."

not beeswax

"Wanted to love this one but sadly dont. I am a beekeeper and have been chasing a smell that encapsulated what a honey house smells like in the heat. I found this scent to be too powdery and overwhelming to fit the beeswax hill."

Very pleasant but not beeswax

"I'm a little disappointed in this one as I was hoping for beeswax. If you've ever smelled Airspun loose setting powder, it smells exactly like that. Slightly floral, a bit baby powdery, very dry. It's a very nice smell, but not what it says"

no bees here

"I love the scent of real beeswax and was hoping for a similar experience but I can't smell any wax or honey notes at all. A little bit of a baby powder vibe at first followed by intense floral. I think it might be freesia or lilac? I avoid both in nature since I'm quite allergic. A bit nostalgic though. Reminds me of something my mom or grandma used in the 90s. Brings to mind Sarah Michaels dusting powder. Regardless, absolutely not for me."

Kombucha girl reaction

"Initially tested it on perfume testing strips to get a sample of the scent and loved it, but when I sprayed it on my skin it was immediately chemical and floral (lilac-y which I hate lilacs). After an hour of letting it settle, I found it's more of an impression scent than a perfume. Imagine not just beeswax, but you are standing in a bee apiary. You get the note of floral, very light honey more so the actual bees (so pollen and the smell of outside), and then the hit of beeswax. Not cultivated or melted beeswax, but warm lived-in beeswax which I'm not sure how to describe maybe like the idea of ambergris- like an animal smell. More akin to an organic type of smell. It smelled the same on clothing, but not my skin. I don't like super floral smells or white flowers and tend to stick more to musky scents. So this one on it's one wasn't for me, but I'm sure it might smell great with a grassy smell or dirt. You know to fully complete the combo of a bee sanctuary or powdery smells to give the impression of a beekeeper. I wasn't sure what else to do so I layered with amber and muted the floral to a potpourri."

A new favourite

"Soft subtle sweetness, floral, mildly powdery, clean. Once it settles you get a pleasant crayon waxiness. A down to earth scent that isn’t overpowering. I’m obsessed."

Not too sweet, just right

"I don't actaully know what "beeswax" smells like, but I like this scent! It does not smell like a candle which I was afraid of. It is similar to Honey but this has its own unique smell. I like both of them and sometimes wear them together."
