This smells absolutely nothing like lily of the valley, and I have a ton of them in my back yard every spring so I know what they are supposed to smell like. This is more like a dollar store laundry detergent smell with a faint cheap baby lotion undertone. I have loved literally every other Demeter fragrance I've gotten so far so not sure what happened here."

Perhaps a difference in taste, but I cannot for the life of me see this as a 'sexy' scent as one review put it. It is light, sweet, and powdery- on the dry down, there is the tiniest hint of green that compliments the florals beautifully. (Rest assured- this is NOT a green scent). It is soft and demure. I do recommend it."
