The Scent: The truth is, at Demeter we do not know what Pixie Dust smells like - but we know what it SHOULD smell like: fruity, sugary and light as the air itself. And that describes our Pixie Dust perfectly.
The Inspiration: In the Disney version of Peter Pan, when Tinker Bell moves she is trailed by small amounts of pixie dust, and this dust can help humans fly, if they think happy thoughts. At Demeter we clearly want people to think happy thoughts - in fact, one of our main reasons for being is because great fragrance always makes you smile, and we all need more smiles, each day, everywhere. So Smell Great and Be Happy!
Sunshine
The Scent: What does Demeter's Sunshine smell like? Think of your favorite, most comfortable cotton T-Shirt left outside and warmed by the sun. We thought long and hard about what elements we could use to express the idea of Sunshine. After a debate that lasted more than a year, we decided Cotton, warmed by the sun, but executing that direction was easier said than done. It took almost another two years until we felt this fragrance was done. Let us know if you think it was worth the wait.
Angel Food
The Scent: Egg whites, sugar, vanilla and coconut. It tastes as good as it smells, and it smells great!
The coconut is our own special touch, from a generations old Pennsylvania recipe, passed down through the family of our founding perfumer.
The Inspiration: Being surrounded by family as this lovely desert bakes in a warm oven.
