Reviews

Very pleasant, soft smell

"It doesn't smell exactly like a book, but it's certainly a lot closer than other perfumes I've smelled that try to emulate book smell. Very soft, with a bit of vanilla and an earthy smell. I love its subtlety. I mixed it with several other scents with the foolproof blending kit and that blend smells exactly as I'd hoped it would, but honestly this is one of the scents I bought that I would just wear on its own, too. Very happy with it"

Smells like a memory

"Anyone else’s midwestern parents bring them to ‘museums’ that were made up mostly of cabins set up as they would have been in the 1740s or whatever? They usually had a blacksmith or glassblower making ungodly expensive souvenirs that you as a child would beg for? No? Just me? Well, this smells like that memory. 45% dry cabin wood, 5% wood shavings + dust mixture, 40% unflavored-rock-candy-on-a-stick, 20% nostalgia."

KAR (4/5)

"Smells just like the name. If you want to smell like your sitting in an antique book store who has been run by the same family for at least 3 generations and they have a vanilla candle that's always burning in the back, this is your perfume! I love it! It evokes literary autumnal vibes!"

Laurel (5/5)

"Smells just like an old book! It has a hint of banana which is odd, but I use a woody lotion (like sandalwood) and it fixes it right up! I also love that the oil isn't a heavy sticky mess, it soaks right in and makes my skin soooo soft!"

Laurel (5/5)

"It's almost to subtle, i can't get the fragrance notes to pull through but the lotion itself is lovely and not greasy on the skin"

"The paperback cologne i only bought because Gerard Way used it and it smells so good"

Ada (5/5)

"Really lovely smell - exactly like a new paperback book - slight plasticy note that I really rather like. It almost borders on smelling more like old book than old book does."
