"Subtle sweetness. A very light clean fragrance. Good for people who are sensitive to smells."

Smells like the pistachio ice cream fragrance.

"This smells like the pistachio ice cream fragrance without the nutty dry-down scent. I was hoping the scent would be more unique"

Childhood

"I remember chewing this. It's almost exactly right except for on me, it smells a bit more floral. Other wise, this smells exactly like, a freshly sweet, juicy, watery reed. It is a cane of sugar water. Super pretty smell. Delicate."

Fresh and sweet, but not candy sweet

"What a beautiful warm scent. It's giving me vibes akin to like.. a grown up version of a baby's head. Comforting."

sugar rush

"I have no idea what sugarcane smells like. I don't think the finished product, in little white pouches near our tea or coffee, smells anything like this. It's not a simple scent, It's sweet, warm, and infused with a hint of decadence-pure joy to wear ;)"

Just like cane sugar.

"Like a spoonful of liquified cane sugar. I like layering it with the floral lychee scent and the clean green tea scent to create a smell like bubble tea. With floral scents it will smoothen them out and sweeten it up into a more rich and full bodied smell, removing powdery notes."

Just lovely!

"I received Sugar Cane as a free gift with my recent order and I think it is wonderful! Fresh, sweet (but not overly so,) and very delicious. I agree with another reviewer who wrote that it has the scent of amaretto, along with other lovely scents. I do not agree that it smells like Sugar Cookie; I don't care for Sugar Cookie (at least on me - but my skin does funny things to scent sometimes.) Sugar Cane is great with my chemistry, and it has good staying power. Just lovely!"

Very faint, fast-fading, not unique

"As a longtime fan of sugary, sweet, foodie fragrances and impressed that it had won two Fifi's, I just had to try Sugar Cane. My first impression was that it was strongly reminiscent of one of the earliest Demeter fragrances I ever owned, Sugar Cookie, and I had to spray a lot of this on to even detect any scent at all. It is extremely faint and fades to nothingness in under a half an hour. I am getting amaretto with a touch of almond and sugar, and that amaretto impression lasts until the end. So while it is indeed a pretty scent it is so fleeting and light I doubt I would want to purchase a larger size. And I am really not someone who likes to reek of perfume -- I just want to be able to smell it without pressing my nose to my skin. I am quite surprised to see that this won two Fifis, one for the best fragrance in America. Not sure how that is possible. I think it's been done before and the lack of oomph and staying power would not make it so worthy of this honor."
