The Scent: What's up Tiger Lily? Demeter's version is sweet, bright medium-volume floral.
The Inspiration: These flowers are actually native to China and Japan. When they flower in July and August; the bloom is orange color and spotted which covers vast areas making the view unbelievable.
The Story: It does not ripen seed but is propagated from the bulbs produced in the axils of the leaves which should yield flowering bulbs in three years from the time of planting-so if one wants Tiger Lilies, one must be patient.

"This is in my top 10 to be sure. Tiger Lily is sweet and floral with just the right hint of green fruity in the background. It's ever so slightly powdery, and as much as I try to avoid powdery perfumes, this is just the right balance. I played around with some layering and found that with Fig Leaf and Aphrodite's Slipper Orchid, it makes me smell like a fig pastry. I'd play around with this scent and try it with something musky, green, or more powdery to see what turns out the best for you. Very versatile!"
